This intimate wine bar is located in the heart of the city’s historic theatre district. Our design is a love letter to these old monuments and their dramatic vaudeville past. Dancers, comedians, lion tamers, drag queens, and stars like Fred Astaire, Charlie Chaplin, and Harry Houdini all performed in our beloved theatres before the silver screen existed. Inspired, we featured gilded metals, red velvet curtains, and a bar that emulates the historic theatre ticket booth in a modern way. Despite being only 30 seats, patrons can choose to take center stage or tuck into the balcony in a delicate dance of seeing and being seen.

Dancers, comedians, lion tamers, drag queens, and stars like Fred Astaire, Ed Wynn, Eva Tanguay, Charlie Chaplin and Harry Houdini all performed in our beloved Winnipeg theatres before the silver screen existed. Winnipeggers were known to have the most discerning taste and if a show succeeded here, it was off to the rest of the continent.
